Established in 1966, Crossroads is a multi-faith, community-based project in a covenant relationship with the United Methodist Women national office.
Food Stamps
The Utah Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food stamp program helps those in need with buying healthy and nutritious food. Most of the households that receive financial aid must spend some of their own cash and vouchers to buy the food and groceries they need.
You can apply online at jobs.utah.gov/mycase, or you may apply at an employment center, or you can request an application be sent to you by mail.
General Assistance

The General Assistance (G.A.) program provides time-limited cash assistance and case management services to single adults and married couples with no dependent children residing with them 50% or more of the time. General Assistance customers must verify a physical or mental health impairment that prevents basic work activities in any occupation. The impairment must last 60 days or longer from the date of application. An impairment that prevents basic work activities means that the customer cannot work any hours in any occupation.

The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program provides grant funds to states and territories to provide families with financial assistance and related support services. State-administered programs may include childcare assistance, job preparation, and work assistance.
The State of Utah TANF can provide monthly cash grants and financial assistance to lower-income families with children under age 18. Funds can be used to pay rent, medical costs, and other basic needs.
